It means that both plumbers and butchers have an equal moral authority to elitists, who would like to usurp this to themselves only.

A "misprint" is when an editor misses a mistake in a book, newspaper or magazine. Your problem is more a reflection of your inability to understand basic grammar, and the fact that you use words in entirely the wrong context.
