Skeletal shrines

I went to the bone church at Kunta Hora in 2000 with an American friend; It was a June summers day. On the way back to Praha we caught the wrong train; but what did it matter; we saw another 3 hrs of Bohemian countryside in sublime summers weather. I still have a poem written on a bench overlooking the the fork in the rivers of the Vltava and Elbe. The bones I can't comment on; but the Bohemian countryside has been a treasure in my life. I was a foriegner, in Melnik a Czech man wanted to give me something; he parted with his own personal pen-knife; I still have it, and the mans gesture is something I will never forget. A chance meeting that showed me something about Czech character. I hope to meet that man again someday; he taught me something that I lacked in my own character.
