Limitations
- File based banners: up to 50kB.
- Links: heading - up to 30 chars, text - up to 105 chars (3 rows, 35 chars per a row).
File based banners
- Each banner is defined by its position on the website, dimensions and part of the websites (section) the banner is assigned to.
- There is a maximum of four banners rotating in the same spot on the Web site.
- The rotation is at random, runs in four-round sequences and is divided among all banners assigned to the spot.
- The banner is displayed due to the display conditions (date, sections, order).
- If there are no banners set for a particular banner spot of subsection sites, banners of the section above in the section hierarchy are displayed. If there is no such section, no banner is displayed.
Links - link based banners
- Links banners consist of two visual parts on the Web site: a heading used as a link to the target Web site and the text.
- The text part of the Links banner is optional.
- There are two types of Links banners: Links 1 and Links 2. Both of them are displayed based on the same principles.
- The order of banner output is random.
- The order of banner output is generated during each page reload.
- If there are no banners set for a particular Links area (Links 1, Links 2) on the subsection sites, banners of the section above in the section hierarchy are displayed.
.swf file
- The target link is taken as a parameter given to the animation from outside as clickTAG (case sensitive).
- The target site opens in a new browser window.
- The exact expression for a part of action script code: getURL (clickTAG, "_top");
