AFFAIR The organizers of the World Cup in Liberec may have to pay a fine worth 2 million Kč ($114,417) to state authorities. Due to the warm weather, the cup’s organizers transported snow to the skiing track from protected areas in north Bohemia, possibly violating environmental rules.
KALOUDA The Russian soccer team CSKA Moscow is courting junior midfielder Luboš Kalouda, who currently plays for FC Brno in the Gambrinus liga.
