Deep Purple alum Ritchie Blackmore and his partner Candice Night return to the Czech Republic with their Renaissance folk music fantasy Blackmore's Night, complete with period instruments, colorful costumes and wacky band member names (Bard David of Larchmont, Squire Malcolm). Blackmore and his troupe are serious about the music without being overbearing about it, and their concerts are great fun, particularly in an authentic 17th-century setting.
