Czech inaction on the Lisbon Treaty is a vote of no confidence against the Lisbon Treaty,not a vote of confidence against the Europe.Lisbon Treaty is-in fact- a legalization of perpetual primacy of extra-national bureocracy of European Union over its individual states.There are many,many people all over the Europe who have at least second thought about it.
Jeffrey White needs to understand that-before writing about it.

His other comments appear mostly fair to me.

Again with the Czech diplomacy within the EU. The future trading block that will emerge between Russia and China, and it will, have a power potential which is enough for some to think about missle silo's. I have held back on the real reasons for the need for building more silo's, Czech/Russian relations may need a delecate healing and in this area I hope the strength of 'moving on from the past' will prevail. The collapse of anglo/saxon banking system, which has no winners, should be careful of not expecting a 'take over' from a stronger emerging trading relationship and provoke tit for tat silo building.
