Capitalism saw a new commodity recently; secret bank account details for sale to governments; amount negotiable. The UBS 'saga' will no doubt be asking questions of ethical banking and much will be said but little done. Also Erste bankers have filled banking complaints along similar concerns; at what point do the banks break the law; and should employe's turn a blind eye. The arguments about right and left wing politics seem hollow when the internal structures of loan default collapse a countries economy. No one can be happy at seeing people's health care deteriorate in any country. It may be that altruistic banking has its place in the market. A banking system that is as open as it can be attracting a large base of capital on the simplicity of trust. The inheritance of the Obama administraion seems a bi-partisan issue; division of purpose could see reform blocked and recovery slow to stagnation. As the report states learning from mistakes is the biggest asset on the table; regulation against chaos is needed.

"the continued payment of corporate bonuses is testimony to the failure of corporate governance."

And what, pray, has that got to do with you?

Instead of preaching to companies about how to spend their own money...perhaps you could look at the real scandal, which is the theft of government money to prop up these big institutions...for example, by the well-known Wall Street puppet Barack Hussein Obama.
