Is this satire? How can anyone take the Prague Post seriously with this kind of blatant agenda driven propaganda? This is worst than Fox News...

Hi Tom, are you nuts? Putin got confirmation from Bush that Americans wan't get involved? To your knowledge every Russian and especially Putin make shit on American's opinion on any subject. I believe you know that.
If your State Department is not approving something Russians always have 15-25 minutes fly time to every major city in US :) to get your final approval:) Got it, moron? And 1 minute fly time to rich any target in Czech Republic...

"So why.." It's because he's paid to write that: aggressive Russian bear, iron curtain, etc. Otherwise he'll get unemployed and finally will have to do something useful in his useless life rather than lying in the newspapers. Cleaning the streets of the wonderful city of Prague for example:). But seriously, it's really a shame, who cares who actually started the conflict, who cares about hundreds of civilians dead in their beds due to the night shelling, who cares about whole families trying to escape in their cars, but burned alive in by Georgian tanks. Pig.

Western representatives of the second oldest profession retreated to pre-position. Now you can in the dubious form to acknowledge that Georgia launched military action, but be sure to say that Russia has long forced him to move.

Its an insult to a bear to; who has a friendly part to it's nature; to throw stones at it while its making a den to survive. If most of its natural habitat has been interfered with and it has lots of cubs to feed; the reaction is predictable. If the bear percieves that all around it are potential enemies; then self preservation and protection of family has to be respected. A different administration with wisdom seems to at least have the ability to respect family values and exercise respect .
The recent example of a 'ranger' who rescued two children who had wandered into a den where bad bears live is encouraging. I think ill start reading Russian literature to try and understand a great nation.

If any of your readers are interested in reading something a bit more intelligent, here is an article from the UK's Guardian newspaper. It was written by the elected leaders of South Ossetia and Abkhazia:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2009/aug/06/georgia-abkhazia-south-ossetia

Here is the essence of the article:

"The truth is that on 7 August 2008 an irrational Georgian leader used US military support to launch a brutal attack on South Ossetia, hours after publicly assuring Ossetian civilians that he had ordered a ceasefire. The truth is that Grad rockets and cluster bombs killed women, children and the elderly in the middle of the night, and only Russian intervention prevented an even greater atrocity."

In case you didn't notice, the US puppet government in Georgia started this conflict by attacking South Ossetia. Russia intervened to protect its own citizens.

So why run an idiotic headline which suggests that Russia was the aggressor?
