Lychee, an exotic fruit hailing from Southeast Asia, makes for a refreshing drink.
The martini is a classy drink, a suave concoction in a sexy glass that begs quotes from James Bond upon ordering. It's traditionally more frequently ordered by men, but the simplicity of a martini also allows for creativity, meaning an array of additions, accents and combinations can spin the drink into completely new territories. Likewise, simply the idea of a martini can spur other drinks into being, such as the Lychee Martini at the BeBop Bar, which doesn't even actually contain any vermouth.
The BeBop Bar, located in the Radisson Blu Alcron Hotel just off Wenceslas Square, likes to shake things up a bit (pun intended) with its cocktails, creatively interpreting the classics. The Lychee Martini, which BeBop first made more than 15 years ago, was created as the feminine answer to the masculine martini.
