One of the highlights of this year's Trutnov Open Air Music Festival is certainly the Welsh alternative rock band The Manic Street Preachers. The Manics' hard-driving glam-pop-rock sound has developed over the course of nine albums, earning them a huge cult following. The band is sure to preview tracks off their forthcoming album, Postcards From a Young Man, which frontman James Dean Bradfield has described as a series of blatantly poppy tunes aimed at achieving maximum radio airtime. With three days of international rock, jazz and reggae, the Trutnov Open Air Music Festival is an appropriate farewell to summer. Trutnov, Aug. 19 at 7
