French Institute Gallery-Michal Pěchouček and Marta Morice: I'll Follow in Your Steps (Homage to Jan Z) Two Czech artists, one of whom has been living in France for several years, set off on the trail of Jan Zrzavý (1890-1977), who in the 1920 and '30s turned to landscape painting while in Brittany. Many decades later, the artists tried to identify the exact places from which Zrzavý painted particular landscapes, and they made their own works in response to his. Ends Feb. 10.
