http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%22Polish_death_camp%22_controversy

Polish death camp and Polish concentration camp are misleading terms that occasionally appear in international media in reference to Nazi German concentration camps built and run by during the Holocaust in the General Government and other parts of occupied Poland. Usage of the term has been condemned as "insulting".

Why does this piece refer to concentration camps as Polish?

They were German camps on German-occupied territory throughout their period of operation.

To imply that they were in Poland geographically, or that Poles were in some way involved in this camps is incorrect.

Please kindly correct the wording.

""Why do I have a "funny" feeling that instead of doing anything about it they will block access to me?""

Probably because you are the one who contributes nothing intelligent to this forum but writes childish abuse about what other people write.

"Why do I have a "funny" feeling that instead of doing anything about it they will block access to me?Easy way out!!!"

I think that that is probably the best solution: most of your postings are abusive rants and have little to do with the articles in the Prague Post. Your recent paranoia about your "green car" is not very interesting to other members of the forum, and could hardly be said to be on-topic.

"Since Ms Donaldson is an unregistered user, the implication must be that an editor of the Prague Post has approved comments made about your residence, green car and relationship with the children of Victoria. What do you think about that?"

Yes Karel,I am aware of it and had written to editor.
I am not complaining about regular inane comments of "foreign legion" about my intelligence and lack of "proper" english.I can take it and I can serve it too. However, lately it veered into marginally criminal behaviour by few, especially by M.Donaldson.

"Only by somebody whose English was very basic. An educated person would say "located in Czechoslovakia"."

I was not quoting,girl-rather refering to.

At least now you are sticking to the subject at hand instead libeling anybody.
I guess it is too much to ask of the person of low ethics to stop the "thrash" talk while hiding in anonymity of false name.
I have no problem if you question my intelligence etc.To accuse me of perversion is another matter and Prague Post needs to do something about that.

No, you are the one who misunderstood. Your knowledge of English is so limited that you don't understand the difference between "Polish Concentration Camp", which does, indeed, imply that it is run by Poland, and "Concentration Camp Located in Poland".

I think that you misunderstood.Of course the concentration camps were build by Germans. However, they also were located in Poland(and Czechoslovakia and Germany and other countries)
Israeli children went to see the ones in Poland and that is why the reference was made to Poland. If they went to the one in Terezin, they would be refered to as Czechoslovakia located. It is just a matter of geography, not the accusation against the Polish people.

The comment by Yoav Shamir 'Polish Concentration Camp' is incorrect and offensive. The Germans Nazis were responsible for construction of concentration camps on Polish soil. And is especially egregious when it spoken to school children. History should be stated correctly. Please print a correction and a corrected statement to the schoolchildren.
