Dead Poets

I don't do live poetry waiting on a freezing tram,
Just a cursory thought as to who I am.
I though I saw you on Wenceslas Square;
With your junkie lover, life or death if you care.

I don't do live poetry with collar to the wind;
Or piss you off wondering if you have sinned.
I'm looking for some balance in your face;
Before we sail of in the good ship disgrace.

I don't do live poetry under the Bohemian flag;
You know how respectability is such a drag.
And if you pass my train, sitting in that drain,
Get of my toes, and don't lecture on pain.

I don't do live poetry lying in my sick bed,
Crawling out the gutter with a broken head,
Radical change from that broken star,
Awake!! Brother I know who you are.
