Lipanska Day's

Eight in the house; mamma washes,
Mean steel wheels, the 26 rumbles by.
Cold church steps offer no entry,
The Herna bar door never closes.

Counting cobbled stones; an education,
A misplaced wallet in a moment of haste.
You learn young about bread on the table,
Papa's always home, there's eight in the house.
