Cellist Brikcius and collaborators celebrate author Jiří Weil

Star cellist and music impresario František Brikcius has assembled a great group of collaborators for a concert commemorating the 110th anniversary of the birth of Czech author Jiří Weil, who wrote the novel Makanna - The Father of Miracles. He will be joined by Czech organist and composer Irena Kosíková, the Talich Chamber Orchestra, led by noted violinist and conductor Jan Talich, and the Rev. Jan Židlický doing readings.
