420 People troupe premieres new work, Affordance

Some of the most exciting work in contemporary dance is being done by the 420 People troupe, formed by Nederlands Dans Theater alumni Václav Kuneš and Nataša Novotná. They are premiering a new work this week, Affordance, for which they will be joined by American dancer and choreographer Michael Schumacher. The opening night program includes their piece A Small Hour Ago, which they will also perform at Czech Dance Platform this weekend. The New Stage, April 14 and 15 at 7:30
