Regardless of country; the ownership of a sub-machinegun should meet certain conditions of competence, intent and unarmed status in any public area. There may well be some specialist 'shooting clubs' with rigid membership where safety is paramount and psychological testing is mandatory. As far as hobbies, outdoor sports go, 'sub-machinegun' certainly seems to fall into the extreme end of dangerous sports.
