The headline dangerously misleads the reader to think that Obama has declared support for the star-wars retread project called a "radar base."

In contrast to Swarzenberg and Vondra who are clearly fawning for the project, there is nothing in Curtis Wong's article that suggests Obama in any way supports it.

As Commander Bob Mehal is quoted saying "it would be inappropriate to speculate on how, or if, the future policy may or may not change."

By implying in larger letters than in the substance of the text, the Prague Post Editors are deliberately or passively manufacturing consent for a new cold war.

January 20, 2009 initiated a new era of transparency and the rule of law under the Obama-Biden administration. Nothing has happened since January 20 to improve the flawed missile technology upon which the missile defense system is based. The worldwide financial crisis is now on the front burner; not funding a flawed missile defense system.
The pact between the Czech government and the previous US administration was negotiated in the secret Bildenburg conference. The previous occupant of the White House publicly stated the agreement would never be presented to the US Senate for approval. The US Senate will assert their "advise and consent"prerogative to ratify treaties should the Czech Parliament approve the missile defense pact that seventy-five percent of the Czech citizens oppose.
The Brdy mountain region should be a wildlife preserve or perhaps an institute dedicated to transparency and the rule of law.
