The weather can be fatal, and the city does a great job in helping essential saftey. Savings in corruption will pay for times of bad weather; which in turn saves lifes. Sounds like sound economics to me..........or am I just a soft-head?

It's always sad when anyone dies for any reason, but other than that, being in Canada, I can only say; "What's the big deal?" The Czechs I know are too tough to be flustered by this event at all.
