In Wales, part of U.K; English is the language used at local governement level. Interpretation of English into Welsh is aviliable. In everyday living people are free to use whatever language they feel suits them.
This also is the case in araes of north Scotland and the outer Islands.
Introducing laws where punishment for speaking a different language is backwards and degenerative law making. I am sure Mr Klaus means well, but interpretation of laws, not wanted in a modern democracy, bercause of past links. seems the issue. Ethnic 'division laws' shoild be opposed across Europe; and legislation draughted to allow people to speak Slovak; Hungarian, Italian, Mexican or even ancient Boii put in place. No more laws of ethnic division!!!
