Seriously?

The benes decrees are rascist decrees, it is a simple fact. Unfortunatley, I do understand and I do think it is too bad. All I can do is not visit Karlsbad and Marienburg, where I once had relatives live before being forcibly expelled.

If someone can't understand that benes/rascist decrees are outdated and a holdback to intolerant times to today, then that is indeed.....too bad.

Benes Decrees were supported by all allies after the war.The same countries that are in EU today.
Spiro can stand for whatever he chooses and it will not make any difference.
The attitudes were different in those times for a very understandable reasons. If he can't see it,it is just too bad.

Having said that I do not rejoice in the violent acts of revenge against the Nazi sympatizers that acted against the Czech people, however I believe that the expulsion as such was a right move at that time.

And yes,Nemec in Czech means German just as Anglican means an English or Jan means Hans etc, etc, etc.

So, Jiri hubacek thinks two wrongs make a right- grow up. It is widely known that many Sudeten-Germans were forced to have, as you call it, "hakenkraitzes" on their clothes to identify them as Germans. Also, "N" armbands were used as well- czek for "nemec", I believe that's what you call Germans- Nemec. (nemec et nemec- german is just a german, right?)...

benes can suck it.

I stand by kicking the czeck republic out of the EU for such rascist intolerant decrees on their books....what's next? the poor Roma?

While it is probable that there were an excesses of revenge especially in the view of Russian commisar's running this "Eastern Division",the picture accompanying the above article is (or should be)very revealing about many outgoing Germans and their loyalties.
The large "hakenkraitzes"drawings on their baggage is self-explanatory.

I stand by Benes Decrees.

There was retrebution all over Europe; no nation was innocent of 'settling old scores' . If it is possible to define the facts and appolgise where account is solid and genuine; then that improves on those who had no remorse. Stalinist purges went on for many years
