This looks like a strong reaction to perceived historical dependencies as well as the problems of ensuring the sound legal composition of trading companies. I would imagine it would be a better policy to engage the media in explaining the preferred direction of the country rather than alienating it.

Not sure if I agree as this article is a bit simplistic. Hungary and Eastern/Central Europe is an easy target. Add to that a strong right-wing leader like Orban and you have a mix, which clearly rings the alarm bell in Europe and it's left-wing/liberal politicians (who by the way dominate the European political scene).
