Peter Schärli Quartet plays Prague Castle with Glenn Ferris

The Swiss jazz trumpeter, composer and bandleader Peter Schärli will be at the castle Thursday night with a quartet featuring American trombonist Glenn Ferris. Schärli has been on the European jazz circuit for nearly 30 years, playing with an impressive variety of partners and sidemen, constantly reinventing his sound. Also a noted composer for films and theater, he has a reputation as a musician's musician, which should serve him well playing for King Klaus. Prague Castle, March 18 at 8
