Angela Lamprianidou to perform at Divadlo Ponec

Greek choreographer, dancer and teacher of energy movement Angela Lamprianidou is coming to Prague for a performance of one of her most successful choreographies, SITz, which won the 2010 competition at the Barcelona Mercat de les Flors. Lamprianidou says the piece was inspired by "a simple reflection of how much time you spend today in your life sitting … the dance explores the possibilities of the human body, which is based on the variability of the human sitting. Its aim is to reflect our everyday life, focusing on how seating affects us not only physically, but also in terms of psychology and emotions." Divadlo Ponec, Feb. 13 at 8; 190 Kč
