Movers & Shakers: Segall partners at CMS

CMS Cameron McKenna has hired Mark Segall as a new partner on the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) Banking and Finance team.

Segall will focus on leveraged and acquisition finance, acting for both borrowers and lenders throughout the capital structure. He will be based in the Prague office but will work on various regional banking projects.

For the past three years, Segall has worked as head of execution in the Financial Sponsor Solutions Group of UniCredit Corporate & Investment Banking, during which time he worked on deals both in the CEE and across Europe.

Segall's most recent CEE deals include CVC Capital Partners' acquisition of StarBev, the CEE business of Anheuser-Busch InBev, and Mid Europa Partners acquisition of Telemach in Slovenia.

Enders

Rick Enders has been appointed general manager of the Prague Marriott Hotel as well as Prague Marriott Executive Apartments.

Enders is Dutch and is a graduate of the "Haagland" Hotel Management School in the Netherlands. His career with Marriott spans more than 20 years, beginning with a position in 1988 in Bethesda, Maryland, in the United States. For the next eight years, he worked in a variety of food and beverage positions in the United States, Germany and England. In 1997, Enders accepted a position as director of restaurants in the JW Marriott Dubai. From 1999 on, he held director of food and beverage positions at the JW Mirage City in Egypt, as well as in China and Switzerland.

In 2004, Enders was promoted to director of operations at the Warsaw Marriott Hotel prior to his first appointment in the Czech Republic, which followed in January 2006. His first pre-opening general manager assignment was at the Courtyard by Marriott Flora, and he was asked to open the Courtyard by Marriott Airport in November 2006. In January 2009, he took over the leadership of the Courtyard by Marriott Pilsen.
