Movers & Shakers: Hájek directs Naxos

Miroslav Hájek was appointed director of auction company Naxos. Hájek joined Naxos in 2000 and, since then, has worked as director of special projects and business manager, specializing in the implementation of large commercial transactions and overseeing the sale and purchase of companies. Hájek graduated from Masaryk University in Brno.
Glatzova & Co. has been nominated among the top five Czech law firms on the shortlist of the prestigious Chambers Europe Awards for Excellence 2010.
Petr Potomský and Daniel Szmaragowski have been appointed senior managers in KPMG's tax services department. Potomský joined KPMG in 2002 and was promoted to manager in 2006. He is a graduate of Brno University of Technology and a member of the Chamber of Tax Advisers of the Czech Republic. He will now work to broaden tax advisory services at the Brno and Ostrava offices.
Szmaragowski joined KPMG in 2000 and became a manager in 2006. He is a graduate of the University of Economics in Prague and is a member of the Chamber of Tax Advisors of the Czech Republic. He will advise medium- and large-size manufacturing companies in the automotive, engineering, electronics and telecommunications sectors.
