Movers & Shakers: King Sturge hires two

King Sturge's Prague office has hired two for its industrial and office agency departments.
Miroslav Nutil, 31, has joined the industrial agency team as a senior leasing agent. Nutil will communicate with developers and tenants of logistic and industrial properties and is in charge of related leasing transactions. Nutil has five years of experience on the Czech market. Before joining King Sturge, he worked for industrial property developer Goodman and property consultants CB Richard Ellis.
Josef Krautman, 26, has joined the office agency team as a leasing agent. He has had experience with the Czech and German property markets since 2006. Prior to joining King Sturge, he worked for Maxima Reality in Prague and for Aengevelt Immobilien in Leipzig. He graduated from the Czech Management Institute in 2008.
The British Chamber of Commerce (BCC) has announced changes in its executive team.





As of Dec. 1, Richard Robinson is the new general director of the chamber. A diplomatic spouse, Robinson has experience working abroad and, as a chartered accountant, opened new branches in Moscow and Kyiv. Prior to moving to the Czech Republic, Robinson lived in Moscow while his wife, Sian MacLeod, served as plenipotentiary minister before she accepted her role as ambassador to the Czech Republic.
Petra Janíčková is the new executive director. Janíčková is the former director of the Berlitz language school and, in the past, has been responsible for BCC events, educational workshops and corporate social responsibility programs.
Prague College has appointed Mark Anderson as its new marketing director for postgraduate programs. In his new role, Anderson will be responsible for expanding the school's masters and professional development programs, with particular emphasis on the MSc in International Management, which is being launched February 2010.
Prior to Prague College, Anderson worked as a marketing consultant for GE Money. Since arriving in the Czech Republic, he has founded two companies, including the former Expat Business Association.
Dana Schweigelová, a partner at the Glatzová & Co. law firm, has been appointed a member of the appeals commission for Czech National Bank (ČNB). The commission is an advisory arm of the bank's board that prepares draft decisions of the ČNB board issued during administrative procedures. The commission is made up of experts on legal theory, and business, financial, administrative and European law that are appointed by the board.
Schweigelová has been with Glatzová & Co. since it was founded in 1994. She focuses on banking and finance, capital markets, banking law and restructuring and insolvency law.
