Movers & Shakers: Klein promoted at Mazars

International advisory firm Mazars has promoted Pavel Klein, previously head of its Czech Republic Tax Practice, to the international partnership. Klein has been with the firm since 2003 and is a recognized tax industry figure with many years of experience in the consultancy sector.
Robert Neruda was named the 21st partner of Havel, Holásek & Partners. In his new role, Neruda will be co-responsible for developing the firm's specialized anti-monopoly law practice group, as well as the development of a legal team advising manufacturers, distributors and resellers of fast-moving consumer goods.
Weinhold Legal has expanded its arbitration and litigation team with the appointment of senior attorney-at-law Michaela Koblasová from the Prague office of Baker & McKenzie. Before, she had worked with Mareš Partners and at the Secretariat of the ICC International Court of Arbitration.
Raimo Mäkilä has been named the new general manager of LMC. Mäkilä graduated from the Helsinki University of Technology with a master's of science degree and has worked for Alma Media since 1997, serving as senior vice president and managing director.
