I also spoke with the manager for Nebe on Křemencova 10, Vít Ponocný, about Nebe and the alcohol selection there. I asked him about flavor-infused vodkas that seem so popular in mixing drinks right now, and that Nebe also makes in house. He said to make them, bartenders come up with flavors they want in their drinks, and take the corresponding type of fruit, vegetable or product and leave it in the rum for a couple weeks. So for example, with their chili-infused vodka, they take those super hot bright red peppers and leave them in the vodka, and bam – chili-infused vodka. And let me tell you – it’s got spice.
He told me Nebe is focused on attracting a 20 and up crowd, expats, tourists and locals. If you haven’t been to Nebe on a weekend night, its worth a go if you like the dance/ lounge scene, if not for the crowd then for the music selection. I always enjoy the mix of classic and newer rap and R&B, as well as your mainstay pop. It’s a good refuge from some of the less than stellar music sections I seem to find in other venues.
