It’s time to go hear the fat lady sing her song, or maybe in this case the fat dude, as Prague says goodbye to their Australian watering hole Fat Boy’s Bar at Malá Štupartská 5. The bar’s owners have decided to sell the bar after almost nine years, and are hosting a huge farewell party Saturday and then a massive auction of the everything inside the bar on Sunday.
The goodbye party will start at 7 p.m. on Saturday and feature massive drink specials and live music by Jamie Marshall, Danny Robinson, Drew and Timmy. It sounds like it will be pretty epic, as the point is to get rid of as much alcohol as possible…
Then on Sunday, whatever is left from Saturday will be auctioned at “ridiculous” prices, along with all the furniture in the bar from flat screens to random knick-knacks. That starts at 7 p.m. as well, and might feature live music.
And to top it all off… Fat Boy’s will be a smoking bar for their last week, according to their website where they say “Nobody will be having a very healthy week anyway!”
