If you haven’t had a chance to catch a comedy night at Propaganda Pub, your last chance for 2010 is coming up next Tuesday, Nov. 30 with comedian Earl Okin.
In fact, it can hardly be called just a comedy night – Okin’s act is a mish-mash of him playing jazz guitar, rather impressively, while spinning jokes that are of a rather light-hearted nature that still hit the mark. He’s been performing for 50 years, and in that time, he has become a star of Bossa Nova music in Brazil, and has worked with Paul McCartney, Van Morrison and Sacha Baron Cohen, among others.
The show is one of the series being put on by entertainment agency Baby Blue Banana – which I wrote about a while back.
