This Thursday, September 30th, Club Mecca will be hosting a fundraising event in honor of Prague DJ Rhys “Maximal” Davies, who passed away on the 22nd at the age of 27.
The money raised at the event will be given to Davies’ parents to pay for assistance and shipping of Davies’ body back to the United Kingdom.

The event will feature DJs Sly Antro, the Bon Trip duo, Slick, and Macio, who will perform free of charge – entrance to the fundraiser is a minimum of 100 Kč, but is part of the contribution, so attendees can choose to donate more.
Davies was a well-known DJ on the scene in Prague, playing at venues like Club Mecca and Duplex, often along with in his duo “maXimal” with Sly Antro. He also worked as an account manager at Brand Brand Constructions.
Friends describe him on the events Facebook page as someone “always ready to help and give happiness,” and “a legend and a great friend.”
