Club Mecca is celebrating it’s 12th birthday tomorrow night with a huge celebration bash featuring live DJ music and dancing.
The club, which has three floors, five bars and four different rooms including a VIP area, will feature beats by DJ Funkerman, the Dutch founder of Flamingo Recordings.
Funkerman told the Post that there will be two stages, with house music performed by Funkerman and supported by Club Mecca DJs Lafayette and Macio on the main stage and old school house music on the second performed by DJs Airto and Kuba Soulcheck.
“This event is my first gig in Czech Republic and at Mecca club so I´m really looking forward to this performance,” Funkerman said. “I would like to invite all the fans of house music to come to enjoy the real party!”
Manager of Club Mecca Jan Čeřovský said to make the event special, the interior of the club was changed to make it more comfortable, and that guests on the birthday night will get a free welcome drink.
“The visitors can also see new dancers in amazing costumes and of course, the best present for our clients will be performance of DJ Funkerman,” Čeřovský said. “I‘m looking forward to see many of our regular guests and friends that night.”
The price for entry at midnight is 300 Kč, and after midnight it is 390 Kč. Tickets can be ordered in advance here for 290 Kč. Those who prefer a more exclusive atmosphere can get VIP entrance for 990 Kč.
Club Mecca was founded in a former factory in 1998, and since has built itself up as a location for up and coming Czech DJs as well as with performances by famous artists from all around the world. Following Friday’s birthday party, Čeřovský said the club would continue renovations and be updating parts of its programs in October.
