Live in Praha, a fan-made Radiohead concert film that was produced using footage submitted by more than 60 fans, has now been downloaded more than 87,000 times since it was released for free online in late August.
Nataly, the production and website co-ordinator for Live in Praha, told The Velvet Violin the video had been downloaded at least 87,500 times, but that it was impossible to say for sure what the overall total was for the project, which is available in a string of digital formats online.
A near-complete tally of downloads and torrents to date as of late December includes: 35,000 .avi copies, about 16,000 DVD downloads, 15,000 iPod video files, about 9,500 .mkv video downloads, 7,000 QuickTime copies, 3,000 iPad video files and 1,650 copies for iPhone.
She added that the video has just been released in Blu-Ray quality at the project’s download page. Whatever their poison as far as format, the Velvet Violin reckons every Radiohead fan out there should download this great video if they haven’t already.
