Gambrinus Liga – Plzeň make a dramatic comeback

Defending Gambrinus Liga champions, Viktoria Plzeň, played out a seven goal thriller with Teplice. Plzeň came from behind on three occasions to beat a resolute Teplice side. Marek Bakos was the hero for Plzeň as he scored goals in the 78th and 81st minutes to give his side the victory.

The win for Plzeň keeps them in third place, still ten points behind leaders Sparta Prague and four points behind Slovan Liberec who also won their first game of the spring campaign – a 3-1 victory over an injury ravaged Hradec Králové.

Slavia Praha traveled to Příbram looking to start their spring season on the front foot but familiar problems resurfaced, as they failed to find the back of the net and played out a drab goal less draw.

There was home matches for Dukla Praha, Sparta and Bohemians 1905 – pick up a copy of this week’s The Prague Post to find out more.
