A new mixed-use development slowly rises in the middle of Prague. Called the Futurama Business Park, the project, expected to finished in 2011, will consist of five Class-A office buildings with more than 40,000 square meters worth of office and retail space available for rent. The development will also include underground parking and is within walking distance of the Invalidovna metro station and various tram stops. “Our strategy is to provide a modern high-tech office area with interesting architectural features and interior variability design covering all needs of renters on the highly developed Prague’s market in office areas,” explains Tomáš Velemínský, an executive with Immorent ČR, the project’s developer.
RESIDENCE PROKOPOVA
Location: Prague 3–Žižkov
Size: 7,225 square meters
Residential space: 40–150 square meters per unit
Price: 67,000–95,000 Kč per square meter

Developer: Torino-Praga Invest s.r.o.
The gentrification of Žižkov continues with this new residential development from Torino-Praga Invest. Residence Prokopova, set to open next year, will include 74 apartments on three different wings. There will also be an underground parking garage. The apartments range from 40 to 150 square meters and can be joined together for more space at a client’s request. All the units will come with a balcony or terrace while the apartments on the ground floor will have access to private gardens. Residents enjoying the top apartment will be able to enjoy of sweeping panoramic views of the city’s impressive skyline.

Location: Prague 9–Čakovice

Price: From 40,000 Kč per square meter
