New GM at Skanska

Leoš Vrzalík has been appointed the new general manager and board chairman of Skanska Servis. He replaces Petr Obst, who is leaving the company.
The strategic department director at Skanska CS since 2000, Vrzalík has extensive experience in the strategic management of sustainable development, investments and acquisitions. As Skanska Servis general manager, Vrzalík will helm a brand-new subsidiary merging all of Skanska CS’s service and support-oriented activities here and in Slovakia.Vrzalík graduated from the Prague University of Economics with a degree in international trade, and has worked as a management consultant at Ernst & Young.The German Chamber of Commerce has elected three new members, Jiří Škrla, Holger Kintscher and Lucie Vorlíčková to its board.
Škrla is the managing director and deputy board chairman of Veletrhy Brno, where he has worked since 1975.Kintscher has held several positions in education/training, controlling and finance at Volkswagen AG since 1987. He is currently a board of directors member at Škoda Auto, where he is responsible for commercial affairs.Vorlíčková was the general manager of law firm Vorlíčková & Leitner and a partner of Austrian law firm Leitner & Leitner Vienna/Linz since 2003. In 1994, she founded the tax and audit firm Vorlíčková & Partners.Petr Beneš has been appointed executive manager and Jan Kraus authorized officer at Hochtief Development.Peter Noack, who has been the company’s sole legal executive up to now, remains head of the management.
Beneš has worked as the company’s authorized officer since 2001. After receiving a degree in engineering geology and hydrogeology at Charles University’s Faculty of Sciences, Beneš worked at Jones Lang Lasalle, where he was responsible for leasing office space.As one of two executive managers at Hochtief Development, he will be responsible for acquiring new projects for the company.Before joining Hochtief development in 2005, Kraus worked as sales manager at HVB Bank and as leasing and commercial real estate leasing adviser at Colliers International.He holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of New York in Prague and a BTEC Higher National Diploma in European Business.Send information about personnel changes at your company to mhulpachova@praguepost.com
