Florence bus station slated for a makeover

Shabby departure lounge to get shops, restaurants

(Updated June 18, 2008) Florence bus station in Prague is up for a makeover, Mlada fronta Dnes reported on Wednesday.
ČSAD Praha Holding, the company that manages the station, wants to build a new departure lounge where travelers can shop and eat. Plans are expected to take a year to complete, said Pavel Vráblík, director of the transport company.
The new  1096-square-meter terminal is to be built close to the metro station, where people will be able to find shops, cafes, new restrooms and ATM machines.
