Insurer appoints director

The insurance company Kooperativa, owned by the Vienna Insurance Group, has appointed Martin Diviš its general director.

Diviš joined Kooperativa in 1995, first serving as spokesman. Later on, he was responsible for advertising strategies, sponsorships and public relations. In 2001, he became responsible for Kooperativa’s marketing and communication department. He was appointed to the managing board in 2005 and a year later became Kooperativa’s deputy general director.
Diviš graduated from the management and marketing program of the University of West Bohemia and then continued his studies at the Agricultural University in Prague. In 2005, he earned his MBA degree from the Prague International Business School.
The entertainment company HBO Central Europe has named Ondřej Zach its vice president for programming and acquisitions. Zach previously served as HBO’s executive director for the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Zach will be responsible for programming in the 11 countries covered by HBO Central Europe over various channels including HBO and Cinemax. Zach has more than 10 years of experience in the television industry, including acquisition work at TV Nova, the Czech Republic’s largest commercial broadcaster. He is a graduate of Charles University.
The electronics firm GN Netcom, maker of Jabra headsets, has appointed Jiří Krejčí its business development manager for the Czech and Slovak markets.
Krejčí
Krejčí has been working on the market since 1998. Before joining GN Netcom he held manager positions at several global companies. In the past five years, he worked for Exstream Software CEE as a general director and later on as a regional director responsible for the activities of the company in German-speaking countries, Italy, Central and Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
Krejčí is a graduate of the Philosophical Faculty of Masaryk University in Brno, south Moravia, and the Faculty of Philosophy and Art of Charles University.
