The executive search firm Egon Zehnder International has appointed Nicolas von Rosty as its office manager for the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Von Rosty, 45, had overseen the Prague office of Egon Zehnder for about a year.

Prior to Prague, in Germany, von Rosty led Egon Zehnder’s service practice group for the industrial sector. In Prague, von Rosty joins management consultants Robert Fekete and Pavel Lhotka in identifying, assessing and recruiting business leaders.
Von Rosty joined Egon Zehnder in 2000 as a consultant in its Hamburg office. Previously, he worked as managing director of Thyssen A.G. in Mexico City; legal counsel for the Thyssen Group in Düsseldorf; and as an attorney with White & Case, Feddersen in Berlin. He holds a Ph.D. in law.
The consulting firm Ernst & Young (E&Y) Czech Republic has further strengthened its fraud investigation and dispute services team. David Smith recently joined the Prague office from his role of a senior manager in E&Y’s Melbourne office.
Smith, 37, has experience in providing accounting expertise in commercial disputes and conducting forensic investigations. He previously worked for E&Y in London, Dublin and Melbourne. He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce and law and a graduate degree in applied finance and investment.
