Finance director for O2

The dominant telecom provider, Telefónica O2 Czech Republic, has named Jesús Perez de Uriguen its vice president for finance, effective in May. De Uriguen succeeds Ramon Ros, who has been promoted to the position of chief financial officer for O2 UK.

De Uriguen currently serves as the chief financial officer at Telefónica Central America. In the past, he has worked for Arthur Andersen, Jazz Telecom and Telefonica Moviles. He holds a degree in business administration from the University of Maryland at College Park and later received an MBA from the Instituto de Empresa.
The real estate developer Lexxus has appointed Ivo Ščuka as its new business development manager. Ščuka will be responsible for the development of the company’s strategic relationships with new and existing developer groups, focusing on the improvement and extension of the support they receive from Lexxus.
Ščuka
Ščuka graduated from the Technical University in Brno, majoring in robotics technology. He came to Lexxus from the position of general manager at Hertz Lease, a leasing company which has established itself as one of the leading players in the business-to-business market.
Ščuka is married and has two daughters.
The country’s largest brewer, Plzeňský Prazdroj, has seen a few recent changes in its management.
Michal Kačena has left his position of director of the corporate affairs department. Kačena, 44, joined Prazdroj in 2001 and for the past three years was a member of its executive management team. Following his departure, the corporate affairs director position has been eliminated, with its communication functions integrated into the rest of the company.
Kačena holds a degree in nuclear engineering, a diploma in journalism and an MBA. Before joining Prazdroj, he worked at the Nuclear Information Institute and later in corporate communications, corporate affairs and human resources roles at the power utility ČEZ and Philip Morris.
Richard Kabuď will become the brewer’s remuneration and benefits manager, promoted from his current role of HR services manager.
Kabuď, 35, graduated from the Philosophical Faculty of Charles University and holds an MBA from ESMA in Barcelona. He has worked for Prazdroj for three years. Since 1996, he has worked in human resources for several companies, including Radio Free Europe and Český Telecom.
Eisel
Juraj Eisel has been named the human resources director of the hospital products manufacturer Linet ČR. Eisel, 50, succeeds Jiří Kolář, who will now lead Linet’s IT projects. Before joining Linet, Eisel spent the past three years as the HR director of ČD-Telematika, a telecom company.
