Market head for T-Mobile

Petr Dvořák has been appointed T-Mobile’s executive vice president of marketing in the Czech Republic. Dvořák, 35, has worked as the acting head of marketing since the end of February, following the announcement that his predecessor, Jiří Dvorjančanský, would be promoted to head of marketing at T-Mobile Deutschland.

Dvořák has been at T-Mobile since 2001, previously working for Nestlé and Lybar. At T-Mobile, Dvořák has held various positions, beginning as the Twist brand manager, after which he became the vice president of consumer marketing. He most recently served as vice president of category and product management.
Dvořák studied at the University of J.E. Purkyně in Ústí nad Labem, north Bohemia, and is currently enrolled in an MBA program. He speaks English, German and Russian.
The retailer Tesco Stores ČR has named Šárka Novotná as its manager of internal communication. Previously, Novotná worked in communication and brand building at Kraft Foods ČR and Vodafone. Novotná spent 10 years in Canada, Great Britain and Malta, and studied English at the Philosophical Faculty of Charles University.
 
The public relations agency Accedo has appointed Ondřej Hampl as its new country manager for the Czech Republic. Hampl, 33, began his career with Mediarex, where he was a junior account manager. Later on he joined the PR firm Mmd, where he spent eight years and served as a senior account manager, responsible for clients such as 3M, Apple, General Electric, Dell and GTS. He is a graduate of Liberec Technical University in north Bohemia, where he studied economics.
