KPMG adds partners

The global advisory firm KPMG has appointed four new partners to its office in the Czech Republic. Monika Vítová will become a partner in the audit department. She joined KPMG in 1997 upon her graduation from the University of Economics in Prague. She is a qualified statutory auditor.

Vítová
|
Joining Vítová as a partner in the audit department is Milan Bláha, who joined KPMG in 1995. In recent years, Bláha has been active in the firm’s accounting advisory services group. He is a certified tax adviser and auditor. Bláha graduated from the Mendel University of Agriculture and Forestry in Brno in 1995, where he studied at the Faculty of Business and Economics. He speaks fluent English and German.

Havlíček
|
Radek Halíček will serve as a partner in the tax department. He will be responsible for banking, financial institutions and international taxation. Before joining KPMG in 2006, Halíček worked for Arthur Andersen and White & Case. He is a graduate of the Law Faculty at Charles University and the Transport Faculty at the University of Pardubice. Lastly, Jon Mortimer will become a partner in the financial advisory services department. Mortimer joined KPMG as a manager in 1999 after working for two years at the private equity firm CDC Equity Partners in London. He was promoted to senior manager in 2003 and became director in 2007. He began his career at Arthur Andersen in London and holds degrees in economics and mathematics.The consumer financing firm Home Credit, a member of the PPF Group, has appointed Markéta Muhlhoferová to lead the company’s investor relations.

Muhlhoferová
|
Muhlhoferová has seven years of experience in capital market transactions, working previously in mergers and acquisitions. Before joining Home Credit, Muhlhoferová headed the capital markets team at Česká spořitelna. She also served as vice chair of the listing committee at the Prague Stock Exchange.She is a graduate of Charles University, where she studied at the Faculties of Science and Social Science. She speaks fluent English and has some command of Russian and German.

Dvořáková
|
The real estate advisory firm DTZ has made two new appointments.Lenka Dvořáková will join the company as a senior retail agent. Dvořáková, 27, has previously worked in the real estate sector for several businesses, including the Flow East Group, Donaldsons and Tesco Stores. She holds an MBA from the Open University and speaks fluent English.

Fiala
|
Miroslav Fiala will join the firm as an industrial agent. Fiala, 28, completed his studies at Curtin University in Perth, Australia, participating in exchange programs twice during his studies.
