The first phase of the Prague Outlet Center in Štěrboholy will consist of approximately 80 shops, more than 18,000 square meters of space. Customers will be able to rest and relax in 12 cafés and restaurants, and the two-story parking area in the middle of the building will have space to accommodate 1,200 cars. The second phase of the project will tack on an additional 17,000 square meters of space. Construction dates for this phase have not been announced yet.NAD ROKYTKOU

GroupThe expansive Nad Rokytkou residential project in Prague 9’s Vysočany neighborhood is just beginning to take shape. The final phase of construction won’t be done until 2011, but developers are already reporting that 85 percent of the units going up in the first phase have already been sold. The first phase is nearing completion. A desirable area, close to shopping malls, schools and public transit, Nad Rokytkou is only about 20 minutes away from the city center by tram. Potential buyers will be able to pick from among 1,200 high-quality apartments.TRIANON

District: Prague 4–PankrácSize: 23,000 square metersOffice and retail space: 18,500 square metersPrice: Units will be leased at 15 euros per square meter Construction began: June 2007Projected completion date: December 2008Developer: HOCHTIEF Development Czech RepublicThe Trianon office and business center will add another 18,500 square meters of office and retail space to Prague 4. The ground floor of the building, going up on the corner of Budějovická and Vyskočilova streets, is earmarked for shops and a restaurant, while the top floors will feature state-of-the-art offices. The office space has a “variable layout,” which means tenants can choose a so-called open-plan arrangement or separate offices with all the facilities. The building will also include a three-story underground car park with 298 parking spaces. Additional parking will be available for visitors directly in front of the building.
