DTZ is in charge of leasing the new shopping center Oaza Kladno, opening next year.

KLADNO DTZ has won exclusive rights to lease the new shopping center, Oaza Kladno, which is currently under construction in the city of Kladno, central Bohemia. The 23,000-square-meter (247,570-square-foot) shopping center will have a gross leasable area of 17,805 square meters. Construction on the center is expected to be completed by July 2008. The grand opening is planned for October 2008. PERMIT Plaza Centers obtained a building permit for its shopping mall project Galerie Liberec Plaza, which is scheduled to open late next year. Company Kajima was chosen as general contractor of the project. The mall will contain more than 120 shops and 490 parking places in underground garages. The complex also includes modern office space and five luxurious rooftop apartments.SPEKTRUM Spektrum, a shopping center in Průhonice owned by the the Endurance Real Estate Fund, has launched its new Web page, Spektrum-pruhonice.cz. The site offers a complete list of shops and services, an interactive map of the shops, and updates regularly with news flashes and upcoming events. The center has also launched a new customer quarterly magazine called Spektrum. UPDATE The core and shell of phase one of Central Park Praha, which is going up in Parukářka Park, has been completed. The cast-in-place reinforced concrete structures of 25 villas and the first three towers are finished. The brickwork is also done in all the above-ground floors. The first set of residents will be able to move into Central Park Praha as early as April.SERBIA Plaza Centers N.V., a Central and East European emerging markets property developer, announced plans for new a 100,000-square-meter project in Belgrade. The development, Plaza Center’s first step into the Serbian market, will include administrative buildings, upscale hotels, shopping, entertainment and a business center. The new complex will be located on the prominent site of the former Federal Internal Affairs Internal. EXPANSION Sekyra Group says it is set on expanding into the Russian, Ukrainian, Polish and Romanian markets. During the next five years, the Czech developer group plans to invest more than 3 billion euros in various new office, commercials and residential projects. The company currently has 70 new projects in the works, the majority of which will be outside the Czech Republic. HOUSING A brand new Web site, Kdechcibydlet.cz, has been established by e-Domicil CZ, s.r.o. to help people find their dream homes. The site provides potential homebuyers with information on the local real estate market. “Our new portal makes it possible to gain very easy access to a diverse selection of new apartments and family houses … along with contact details, or find answers to questions concerning financing the property,” explains project director Jana Hrabětová.EXPO Orco Property Group announced its latest Sky Office projects in Düsseldorf and Praga and Vysočanská brána in Prague, as well as other major activities, at the 10th Commercial Property Exposition Expo Real 2007 in Munich earlier this month. Last year, the event took place on an area totaling 52,000 square meters and attracted 1,638 exhibitors from 40 countries. Every year Expo Real breaks another record in terms of numbers of participants, and this year was no different. The organizers had to expand the premises to a total of 63,000 square meters to fit more than 27,000 participants from 41 countries.
