Láska also represented the Czech Republic in its European Union negotiations on the new European financial services legislation. He graduated from the Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague and obtained an LL.M. degree in the field of international financial services law from the Manchester School of Law.
Work toward the planned privatization of Prague-Ruzyně International Airport has brought two new executives to the company. Petr Vlasák joins the Airport from ČSOB to serve as an adviser to the airport’s general director, Miroslav Dvořák, who also previously worked at ČSOB. Since 2005, Vlasák worked as the executive director of ČSOB’s private banking and was responsible for managing selected ČSOB branches and investment products. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Charles University. He was also certified as a chartered financial analyst in 2003.
At the same time, Richard Chvojka joins the Airport from the Land and Forestry Fund, where he worked as the head of the real estate management section. Chvojka previously worked as a deputy finance minister and deputy agriculture minister.
Meanwhile, Martin Kosobud has replaced Vlasák as the head of private banking at ČSOB. Kosobud joined ČSOB in 2003 and later moved to Patria Asset Management, where he focused on investment and mergers and acquisitions. After ČSOB took over Patria in 2003, Kosobud became the director of ČSOB’s private banking in České Budějovice, south Bohemia.
In other ČSOB news, Eduarda Heksová has been appointed executive director for direct sales and services. Heksová studied technical cybernetics at the Czech Technical University in Prague. She has worked in various managerial positions at Credit Suisse Asset Management and also worked at the Finance Ministry as its director for analysis and financial market development. Heksová joined ČSOB in early 2007 and worked as a deputy director in the customer care department of ČSOB’s daughter bank, Poštovní spořitelna.
In the most recent news at ČSOB, Marek Roll replaces Martin Orság as the spokesman for Poštovní spořitelna. Orság has moved on to become the head of Poštovní spořitelna’s marketing communication department. Roll joined Poštovní spořitelna from public relations firm Bison & Rose.
