The public relations sector has seen a number of personnel changes over the past few weeks.

Michal Bártek was named to the helm of the newly opened Slovak office of PR Point. Bártek has rich experience in the PR sector, previously working for the firms Media In and Jandl. In the past, he has also worked within the media. PR Point opened its Prague office in 2003 and has now developed a network of partner agencies throughout Central and Eastern Europe.
Meanwhile, the Virklis agency expanded its management team by adding Ivan Lukáš, who was named senior account manager. He will be responsible for projects in the field of information technology.

Lukáš has been focused on the IT industry throughout his professional career and has worked as an IT publicist at several computer-related publications, including Mobility magazine, Computer magazine and others.
In other PR news, Lucie Matějová joined C&COM Group as a manager. In the past, Matějová worked as a PR manager for the advertising company Ark Thompson, and most recently as a spokeswoman at the security company ABL.
Telecom České radiokomunikace has appointed a new CEO, Jane Hannah. Hannah had worked at Radiokomunikace since January as a senior business consultant.
Hannah received her degree in marketing from the Open University and graduated from Warwick University with a degree in law. In the 1990s, she held international positions with British Telecom.
In June 2004, Hannah established her own consultancy company, Jane Hannah Business Management.
Former diplomat Aleš Pospíšil was hired by MmD to work as its director of corporate and public affairs. Pospíšil was the spokesman for the Czech Foreign Ministry in the late 1990s and was later sent to New York to serve as the Czech Republic’s general consul.
