Čomor

Consumer loan provider Home Credit appointed new CEO and Chairman of the Board Erich Čomor earlier this month. Čomor came to Home Credit from GE Money Bank Czech Republic, where he worked as chief marketing and product officer. He will oversee Home Credit’s operations on the Czech and Slovak markets.Prior to his most recent position with GE, Čomor spent seven years with McKinsey & Company, where he focused on consulting in the design and implementation of new banking products. Čomor earned his master’s degree from the University of Economics in Prague in 1993 and his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management in the United States.Another loan provider, Profireal, recently hired a new public relations manager, Milan Káňa. He previously worked at Allianz insurance company. Káňa has also worked as a spokesman for ČSOB Leasing and power giant ČEZ.

Pascual
|
Matthew Pascual has moved from New York City to Prague to become the new senior manager at the Prague-based human capital team of the international consultancy company Ernst & Young. Pascual has extensive experience with tax schemes related to sending employees abroad. He graduated from Saint Michael’s College in Vermont, and he later became a registered tax adviser with the U.S. Internal Revenue Service. Pascual has worked at Ernst & Young since 1996. He is scheduled to spend two years in Prague.Radim Ćmiel was recently named the deputy general manager at ING Wholesale Banking Czech Republic. Since joining the bank in 1996, Ćmiel has worked in several positions focusing on export financing. While taking up the position of the deputy general manager, Ćmiel will still keep his post as the director of ING Wholesale Banking Products.Software producer SAS Institute ČR has introduced two new officials to its Prague office.Lenka Benková joined SAS Institute as a consultant focusing on credit risk management in the professional services department. Benková, a graduate of Charles University’s Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, previously worked as a consultant for management strategies at Komerční banka.

Meanwhile, Karel Volf has been appointed a new consultant in the business intelligence and data storing department. Volf has worked in the IT sector for 10 years.Tomáš Šabatka has taken over the position of executive vice president for business development of Finnish paper company Myllykoski Corporation. Šabatka will be reporting directly to the company’s president Sverre Norrgärdard. Šabatka has worked in the paper industry for nearly 27 years. He previously acted as general director of AssiDomän Sepap and later as the chairman of the board at RPG Industries.
