Intel gets regional manager

Knebl
IT company Intel has introduced its new regional manager for Central and Eastern Europe: Tomasz Klekowski. He has worked at Intel for the past eight years, recently serving as sales director for Central and Eastern Europe. Klekowski first managed Intel's sales in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, and he later took over managing sales and marketing in his native Poland. He has been in charge of sales in Central and Eastern Europe since September 2004.

Successful work as a key account manager at Winterthur insurance company has earned Tomáš Knebl the position of director of the company's external department. He will be responsible for boosting the insurer's cooperation with its network of external dealers. Knebl joined Winterthur from competing Nationale-Nederlanden in 2000 as senior key account manager for corporate clients.

Adamovský

Pavel Adamovský has been named director of the Czech branch of logistics company UPS. Adamovský, a graduate of the University of Economics in Prague, joined UPS from the Masterfoods company, where he worked for the past 10 years, most recently as logistics and customer care manager.

Jakub Kudrna was recently appointed chief risk officer at GE Money Group. The holder of a Ph.D. from the Math and Physics Faculty at Charles University has worked at GE Money Group since 2002, having joined as a risk analyst. He was later promoted to senior risk manager. Kudrna previously worked as a scientist at the European Laboratory for Non-linear Spectroscopy in Florence, Italy.

Martin Křupala is now branch manager of Volksbank CZ's newly opened outlet on Revoluční­ street in Prague 1. Křupala continues his studies at the Banking Institute in Prague. He has 10 years experience in the banking sector and has worked as a relationship manager at HVB Bank Czech Republic.

Pokorný

In other news from the banking sector, Robert Pokorný moved from Volksbank CZ to the Czech branch of Oberbank AG. He was appointed corporate banking director and deputy country manager. Pokorný has worked with several banks in the past, including Bank Austria Creditanstalt Czech Republic, HVB Bank Czech Republic and Dresdner Bank CZ.

Consultancy company Tacoma has expanded its team of experts by recruiting Jiří­ Skotnica as its new executive specializing in real estate valuation. His main role will be to utilize his long-term experience and strengthen the team of specialists for property valuation. Skotnica intends to focus his professional career on collective investment and real estate funds in particular.
