SAS fills several kaey spots

Leading performance-management software developer SAS has appointed a new business director, Petr Šlajchrt. Šlajchrt has worked for SAS for the past eight years as a solution sales manager focusing on customer intelligence. As business director, Šlajchrt will manage the company's telecommunications and financial business.

Meanwhile, SAS continues to expand its team of business consultants. Most recently, the company hired data mining specialist David Legát. Legát is a graduate of the Charles University Faculty of Mathematics and Physics. Recently, Pavel Marek became a consultant in business intelligence technologies, and David Vaník took a position as a consultant focusing on data storage.

Kotranová

Bureau Veritas, a company specializing in QHSE (quality, health, safety and environment) management and social accountability management, has made Anna Kotranová a new training manager. She will be responsible for sales, marketing and planning education seminars, as well as analyzing the market and working on a long-term business development strategy. Kotranová — who studied psychology, philosophy and aesthetics at the Philosophical Faculty at the University of Prešov in Slovakia — has worked for charities and the Institute of Certified Education, where she developed various educational projects.

Gabriela Molnárová became a new member of law firm Glatzová & Co. She completed her law degree at Masaryk University in Brno in 2002 and passed the bar exam in June 2006. Before joining Glatzová & Co., Molnárová worked as a junior lawyer for Prague-based law firm Zeiner & Zeiner.

Youngová

Europolis Real Estate Asset Management recently announced that Zuzana Youngová joined the company as a project manager responsible for the shopping center sector.

Youngová worked with shopping centers at her previous job while specializing in commercial leases at M.I.P.A. In the past, she also worked at Donaldsons as a property manager.

Kaláb

Oldřich Kaláb manages the distribution center that was opened near Prague early this month by parcel company DPD. Kaláb began working in this sector during his university studies when he joined DHL. He later worked at Schenker and most recently as the country manager at TNT Express Worldwide.

Hyndráková

Martina Hyndráková took over the director position at software company truconneXion's AuditPro business center. She was previously a project manager of the AuditPro software, helping market it domestically and abroad. Throughout her career, she has developed marketing strategies for small and midsize companies. In the past, she focused on the issues of software licenses and software audits at Opal Software Management and Microsoft Czech Republic.
